Job Description

Job Functions

• Organize, schedule, and plan the resources, tasks, and timelines for end to end execution of the project lifecycle
• Plan, administer, guide and direct Project Meetings with appropriate IT Members
• Work closely with business analysts, stakeholders and subject matter experts to analyze current-state process models compared to future-state process models to assist in determining the necessary changes required to achieve future-state
• Assist business analysts providing strategies for organizing and disseminating information about business processes, business rules, organizational information, and business systems requirements
• Oversee and administer procedures for helping the business to track project measures such as productivity, monitor and report on project timelines and scope
• Collaborate with the PMO Manager to ensure projects are strategically aligned with company objectives through effective communication with leadership.

IT Project Manager Additional Responsibilities

• Provide weekly project updates to allow clear communication about project status & timelines
• Attend business, project, & technical touch-base meetings as required
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies

IT Project Manager Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Established experience using Google Apps such as Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Docs, Sheets, Slides
• The capacity to convey technical specifications (written and verbal) effectively with Developers, Business Analysts, Leadership, and cross functional business partners, ensuring accurate resonance with the respective audience.
• Ensure daily efforts for the execution of project work is balanced and focused based on project priority
• Utilize communication skills and ability to demonstrate strategic thinking to enhance and support project team operations
• A strong interest in acquiring knowledge of internal processes and systems to effectively support business analysts and cross-functional business partners
• Facilitate the flow of work, transitioning processes between business analysts, Quality Assurance (QA), and the deployment of development efforts
• Experience working within and contributing to teams that adhere to established Agile methodologies; including proficiency in sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• A solid understanding of Agile principles, values, and practices is essential, along with a demonstrated ability to apply these concepts to drive continuous delivery, foster iterative development, manage backlogs effectively, and ensure alignment with goals and business value.
• Use of analytical thinking to gain a thorough understanding of business processes, systems and data and to identify gaps in requirements and possible opportunities for improvements
• Previous experience with eCommerce concepts and technologies is strongly desired
• Practical or Analytical experience in core business areas such as Finance, Supply Chain Planning & Execution, Manufacturing, Distribution, Customer Order management, or PLM strongly desired.
• Knowledge of programs and systems including;
  Infor / M3 or other ERP systems, Jira, and Tableau, or similar BI Tools

Experience

• One to three years experience in the role of Project Manager, preferred
• Four to six years of experience in the role of Business Analyst, preferred

Education

• A Bachelor's Degree in a related information technology discipline or equivalent, preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI, preferred
