Role Responsibilities

• Support the management of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and manufacturing systems.
• Support software and hardware installations, updates, and upgrades.
• Provide first-line support for IT-related issues and help troubleshoot problems for staff, including remote support.
• Manage inventory of IT assets and ensure they are properly tracked.
• Coordinate IT needs with vendors and service providers.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining security protocols to protect sensitive data, especially in compliance with government contracts and industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations, including CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) and NIST 800-171, by assisting with policy development, audits, and risk assessments.
• Document & implement processes, procedures, and technical solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on site is required.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Basic understanding of existing network programs and capabilities.
• Proficient with general office equipment & Microsoft Office Suite.
• Associate’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment is a plus.
• Experience with IT security tools or network monitoring systems & practices.
• Basic knowledge of compliance frameworks such as CMMC, NIST 800-171 a plus.
• A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ and/or similar is a plus.
