- Gather, compile, and normalize data from multiple sources for use in centralized reporting and analysis.
- Conduct research to identify trends, benchmarks, and relevant workforce insights.
- Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of organizational data within the HRIS.
- Assist with employee and data loads into the HRIS.
- Monitor and audit system access, security, and data integrity.
- Support HR with workforce metrics, reporting, dashboards, and people analytics.
- Analyze HRIS data and translate findings into clear, meaningful information for end users.
- Establish and document data definitions, reporting standards, and known data limitations.
- Develop and analyze workforce data using technology and analytical tools.
- Design, develop, and maintain standard and ad hoc reports to support business and strategic decision-making.
- Program and code reports as needed to extract and analyze data from HR systems.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand and refine reporting requirements.
- Prepare spreadsheets, charts, graphs, and other analytical materials to communicate findings.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and assist with the automation of HRIS and reporting activities.
- Collaborate with HR subject matter experts and business partners on cross-functional projects.
- Participate in department and enterprise-wide initiatives involving HR systems, reporting, and data.
- Support system recovery and data continuity efforts in the event of a system disruption or disaster.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Typically 2–5 years of experience in HRIS, people analytics, data analysis, reporting, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies, missing information, and inconsistencies.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet-based analytical tools.
- Strong understanding of business concepts, data analysis, and reporting.
- Experience working with HR or workforce data such as headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics, and other people analytics.
- Experience working with large and complex data sets.
- Ability to translate business and reporting requirements into clear technical or end-user requirements.
- Experience developing, testing, and implementing reports, applications, or system functionality.
- Experience with HRIS reporting and analytics;
Workday experience strongly preferred. - At least one year of experience configuring or managing Workday functionality preferred.
- At least one year of experience with Workday reporting and analytics preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and exercise sound judgment when addressing complex issues.
