Advanced Supply Chain Technician

The Advanced Supply Chain Technician will utilize and demonstrate at an advanced level supply chain software systems to fill, order, stock, distribute, and receive supplies and linen, while assisting with the management of PAR inventories. This position ensures appropriate supplies and linens are stocked, delivered, and inventory is adequately maintained across multiple locations. Advanced Technicians also assist with mentoring and training new coworkers and, at times, serve as a liaison between supply chain and clinical leaders.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Required Training: Completion of Mercy Preceptor Course within 6 months.
• Experience: Mastered Supply Chain Technician Competencies and fully functional in Supply Chain Technician role, or 2 years direct healthcare supply chain or 2 years large‑scale supply chain experience.
• Preferred Experience: Prefer 12 months in Mercy Supply Chain Technician role.

  Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP), Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM), or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
