District Execution Manager

• Oversee successful implementation and execution of all Merchandising Services activities within assigned retail stores
• Manage General Service Guidelines, Projects, Resets, and other assigned services
• Communicate with District Managers and supplier points of contact
• Oversee managers, supervisors, and associates working day and night teams
• Ensure merchandising strategies and programs are executed successfully
• Hire, train, and conduct performance reviews for direct reports
• Manage team safety, quality, productivity, and project completion metrics
• Manage team budgeting, including overtime, payroll, and other expenses
• Attend district meetings and communicate service metrics and other information
• Monitor manager participation in the SSC-led captainship program
• Communicate and follow up on merchandising issues
• Coach and mentor direct reports and provide ongoing performance feedback
• Provide guidance, set priorities, and assist with assigned tasks
• Ensure execution of staffing, training, rewards, and recognition
• Set and communicate expectations
• Conduct store visits and monitor reports across day and night teams
• Provide direction on merchandising activities and special projects
• Hold the team accountable for expenses
• Use regional captainship programs to identify and resolve local and national issues
• Use interactive reporting to retrieve merchandising and operational reports

• Must be eighteen years of age or older
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Working knowledge of Tableau
• Working knowledge of presentation software, e.g. Microsoft Power Point
• Working knowledge of HRIS software, e.g. IBM Kenexa, People Fluent, Tesseract
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Ability to convey complex or technical ideas and processes in easy to understand terms to diverse audiences
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to retrieve, manipulate, analyze, and interpret data using web-based programs and handheld device
• Experience working in the retail merchandising service industry or directly for a large-scale retailer with multilocation responsibility

• 5 years of supervisory/management experience of large teams
• Must have a valid state driver's license and proof of insurance
• Must have reliable transportation
• Requires daily non-overnight travel up to 100% of the time
• Minimum education:
  
  bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related field
• Minimum 5 years of work experience
