Job Description
C&S has an immediate opening for a full-time, temp-to-hire Bindery Operator Assistant in Jefferson City.
Salary/hours for Bindery Operator Assistant: $16-$18/hr. commensurate with experience;
Monday-Friday 7 a.m.
-3:30 p.m. with overtime as needed
- Stitching and punching documents
- Coiling and cutting materials
- Gluing pages or covers
- Cleaning equipment regularly
- Performing basic preventative maintenance
- Troubleshooting mechanical issues as they arise
- Following general guidelines and job specifications
- Collaborating with coworkers and supervisors
- Must be quality-minded and pay attention to detail
- Must be able to read and understand a job ticket
- Ability to problem solve
- Must have strong attendance and good work ethic
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary
- Must be at least 18 years of age to operate equipment
- Basic computer skills to perform data entry and job tracking
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping and standing activities for the entirety of the shift
