About Honey Green

MAKE SOMETHING WORTH STANDING BEHIND.

Honey Green is a Missouri cannabis cultivation and manufacturing company based in Joplin. From the first plant we care for to the finished products that reach the market, a lot of hands, skills, and decisions shape what carries the Honey Green name.

The work looks different depending on the role, but the standard is the same: do work you are proud to stand behind.

We care deeply about the work and keep the way we work straightforward. We want team members who care about what they do, pay attention to the details, speak up when something does not look right, help the people around them succeed, and keep getting better at their craft.

Quality. Consistency. Accountability. Curiosity. Teamwork. Problem-solving.

Do the work right. Make the next person's job easier. Leave it better than you found it.

What You'll Do Here

You will help turn bulk product and packaging components into finished goods that are accurate, clean, and ready for the market. The work includes preparing materials, filling, labeling, sealing, boxing, cleaning, and checking the small details customers eventually see.

Be Proud of What Leaves Your Hands

The package is often the customer's first physical impression of the product. Make the details worth putting our name on.

Position Overview

The Packaging Support I supports Honey Green's Packaging and Final Assembly operations. Learns standardized work and completes assigned tasks with regular direction and verification. The role prepares compliant finished goods for release to finished inventory while protecting product identity, package accuracy, quality, and presentation. Packaging team members may cross-support Flower Processing & QC when trained and assigned.

Core Responsibilities Operations & Technical Execution
  • Execute assigned packaging and final-assembly workflows for cannabis products, which may include flower, pre-rolls, cartridges/vapes, concentrates, and edibles.
  • Weigh, fill, seal, cap, label, box, and stage products using approved specifications, work instructions, and packaging equipment appropriate to the assigned line.
  • Perform in-process checks for weight tolerance, fill level, seal integrity, label placement, batch/lot accuracy, package condition, and presentation; stop or elevate work when requirements are not met.
  • Complete production counts, material usage, label reconciliation, packaging-material inventory, and required inventory/track-and-trace records accurately.
  • Perform line setup, changeover, cleaning, sanitation, and shutdown activities and promptly report equipment malfunctions, material shortages, or quality concerns.
  • Support Flower Processing & QC quality and finishing activities when trained and assigned, while maintaining Packaging as the primary assignment.
  • Complete assigned tasks using approved methods and seek clarification when instructions, quality criteria, or documentation requirements are unclear.
  • Build proficiency in required tools, equipment, sanitation practices, records, and material-handling expectations through structured training and coaching.
Level-Specific Scope & Accountability
  • Perform basic manual packaging tasks such as counting, staging, placing product/components, boxing, labeling support, cleanup, and material replenishment after training.
  • Learn product-format, label, packaging-component, and line-clearance requirements and stop work when product identity or instructions cannot be confirmed.
  • Inspect packaging materials for visible damage, incorrect components, missing labels, or other obvious defects and segregate questionable material for review.
  • Maintain organized workstations and return unused labels, components, and product to designated locations at changeover or shift end.
