Student Assistant - Certified, Process​/Recover

We provide exceptional care to patients throughout their surgical journey—from preoperative preparation to post-anesthesia recovery. The department offers exposure to diverse specialties and a collaborative, high energy environment.

12 hours a week. We offer different shift options to accommodate flexible scheduling needs.

Under the direction/supervision of a nurse, you will provide basic nursing care needs for assigned patients.

• If a CNA license was held prior to starting nursing program, the employee may be considered for a student assistant program.
• Active Missouri Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
• Currently enrolled in RN or LPN nursing program and have successfully completed first semester of nursing courses.
• AHA BLS for healthcare providers within 60 days.
• Perioperative NT competency day annually by transcript due date.
