** Located on the second floor at Freeman Hospital West, we are a fast-paced department that provides exceptional care to patients throughout their surgical journey, from preoperative preparation to post-anesthesia recovery. Our team supports a wide range of surgical and endoscopy procedures offering exposure to diverse specialties and a collaborative, high energy environment. We offer different shift options to accommodate flexible scheduling needs.

** What You’ll Do
** In conjunction with the medical plan of care, independently performs systematic and continuous assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients and families; plans and implements appropriate interventions; evaluates effectiveness and adjusts plan as indicated in a timely manner in the provision of safe and effective care.
** Requirements
* ** AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.
* AHA ACLS within 180 days.
* AHA PALS Provider Within 180 Days.
* Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.
* Perioperative RN Competency Day annually by transcript due date.
