Role Overview

The professional is accountable for the care of assigned patients, coordinates care with other departments, and maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintain professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.

• Required
  
  Education:
  
  Nursing Degree from an accredited school.
• Experience: Preferred experience in Critical Care setting.
• License: Current RN license in the state of employment and/or compact licensure; must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
