Full‑time nights or part‑time nights | 36 or 12 hours per week – 18:45 to 07:15 (6:45 pm to 07:15 am)

The Nursing Resources team works closely together in a cohesive environment and works alongside charge nurses and leaders to assign staff and patients to appropriate units to ensure the best patient care.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice or a multi‑state compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• 2–5 years of acute care experience.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Advanced Life Support (ACLS).
• Backgrounds in Emergency (ER) or Critical Care (ICU) are preferred.

• Process incoming requests for transfers, direct admissions, and consultations from various referral sources.
• Utilize clinical expertise to assess patient acuity and urgency, recommending the necessary level of care and mode of transportation (ground or air).
• Collaborate with house supervisors and nursing units to assign beds based on current facility capacity and service capabilities.
• Facilitate physician‑to‑physician and nurse‑to‑nurse reports, acting as a clinical air traffic controller between sending and receiving teams.
• Ensure all transfers adhere to EMTALA, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards.
• Accurately record all tasks, conversations, and medical information into electronic health records (EHR) and transfer tracking software.
