Neuro ICU Registered Nurse - Nights

Position Highlights

Neuro ICU Registered Nurse – 3 (12)-hour shifts (7 pm – 7 am). Weekend requirement: every 3rd weekend. Flexible scheduling. Benefit eligible first day of month after hire. 401(k) with match. BSN preferred. ICU experience preferred.

Provides direct patient‑care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the standards of nursing care.

• Promotes patient and family‑centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and families on illness/injury management, post‑treatment home care, and medication administration.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Engages in professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
• Proactively plans and communicates the plan of care across the continuum of care.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care.
• Assesses patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, considering values, spiritual, cultural, and population‑specific needs.
• Maintains safety vigilance as mandated by BJC.

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• RN license.
• No mandatory experience required.
• No mandatory supervisory experience.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• ICU experience.
• Knowledge of neuro‑critical care.
