Located on the second floor at Freeman Hospital West. We are a fast-paced department that provides exceptional care to patients throughout their surgical journey- from preoperative preparation to post-anesthesia recovery. Our team supports a wide range of surgical and endoscopy procedures offering exposure to diverse specialties and a collaborative, high energy environment. We are offer different shift options to accommodate flexible scheduling needs.

Schedule - Full-Time 36 hours/week

In conjunction with the medical plan of care, independently performs systematic and continuous assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients and families; plans and implements appropriate interventions; and evaluates effectiveness and adjusts plan as indicated in a timely manner in the provision of safe and effective care.

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse License or current registered nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse's state of residence.
• AHA ACLS within 180 days.
• AHA BLS for healthcare providers within 30 days.
• AHA PALS provider within 180 days.
• Perioperative RN competency day annually by transcript due date.
