Role:
Registered Practical Nurse in a Cardiac Surgery Unit, providing care for pre- and post-operative cardiac patients, vascular patients, and general medical overflow.
Responsibilities include:Supporting a multidisciplinary team, caring for patients requiring IV therapy, and building clinical skills related to cardiac and vascular care. Earn credentials such as ACLS and participate in ongoing education.
Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience, with current licensure in the state. Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEARS, and unit-specific credentials may be required or developed post-hire.
Skills &Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks including gripping, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
