Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Travel, Nights)

Joplin, MO | Acute Care

Contract | Travel | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 14-week assignment | Projected Start:
September 21, 2026

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) Birthing Center setting
• Monitor and support patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery with a 1:5 patient ratio
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Adhere to weekend and on-call requirements as directed by the facility
• Float to other units as needed — float requirement is non-negotiable

• Active RN license valid for the state of Missouri (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 1–2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required; hands-on Labor and Birth experience is mandatory
• Required
  
  Certifications:
  
  BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP
• Flu vaccination or a client-approved exemption is required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1

• Experience in an LDRP care model
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
• Patient-focused team player with a flexible, positive attitude

• Work at a nationally recognized facility offering all-private rooms, a Level 2 Trauma Center designation, and access to national clinical trials through an affiliated research program
