Job Overview

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a qualified Auto Body Refinish Prepper to join our team. The role focuses on preparing vehicles for refinish repair, ensuring each customer’s vehicle is restored to pre-accident condition.

• Perform surface preparation, vehicle masking, priming, and top coating.
• Apply all primers, sealers, basecoats, color coats, and clear coats.
• Complete restoration of anti‑corrosion treatments, including substrate identification and product mixing.
• Evaluate bodywork to ensure a quality paint job will result.
• Prepare each vehicle for refinishing as per insurance guidelines and facility standards.

$15.00 – $21.00 Flat Rate, performance‑based structure tied to turned hours (also referred to as booked hours). Compensation is commensurate with skill, education, and experience. In cases where total compensation in a pay period is less than minimum wage, clocked hours will be calculated to ensure the applicable local or state minimum wage applies, whichever is greater.

Supplemental pay may include bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
