Senior Account Manager

This role is responsible for growing sales, achieving sales budgets, developing account strategies, and ensuring customer needs and expectations are met.

• B.S., M.E., E.E. degree or equivalent business experience preferred.
• Sales experience in a commercial vehicle environment.

• Establish productive relationships with key personnel in assigned customer and prospective accounts.
• Call on prospective and existing customers to sell current and new products.
• Coordinate with internal management, engineering, operations, marketing, and customer service teams to meet customer expectations and account objectives.
• Identify opportunities for business growth within assigned accounts.
• Communicate with customers regarding contracts, pricing, and future business opportunities.
• Lead and direct Product Engineers to achieve account objectives.
• Prioritize short- and long-term customer activities.
• Understand current and future customer needs.
• Develop and execute account strategies, business cases, and ROI for significant opportunities.
• Manage profitable sales growth and gross margin.
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, councils, and conferences.

• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial and solution-driven mindset.
• Strong business development and sales planning skills.
• Experience selling to customer needs and managing OEM relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and closing skills.
• Strong market knowledge and financial budgeting skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
