PositionSummary
At Marmic Fire & Safety, our technicians are the backbone of the organization and play a critical role in protecting people, property, and businesses through fire and life safety services.
Our Skilled Technicians Talent Network is designed for experienced professionals who are interested in future opportunities within our growing organization. By joining this network, your information will be reviewed by our Talent Acquisition team and kept within our active pipeline for upcoming openings across our service regions.

- Fire Sprinkler Technician
- Fire Alarm Technician

Core ResponsibilitiesWhat You May Work On
Depending on the role and location, responsibilities may include:
- Installation, inspection, service, and maintenance of fire and life safety systems
- Testing and troubleshooting fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, suppression systems, extinguishers, and hood systems
- Performing inspections in compliance with NFPA and customer requirements
- Diagnosing deficiencies and recommending corrective actions
- Reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Completing service documentation and inspection reports
- Supporting customer safety and compliance needs
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and company vehicles
- Providing excellent customer service while representing Marmic Fire & Safety professionally
What We're Looking For
- Strong technical and troubleshooting abilities
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to support customer schedules and service needs
Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
- Fire alarm systems
- Fire sprinkler systems
- Special hazard systems
- Kitchen suppression systems
- Fire extinguisher service and inspections
- Hood cleaning and kitchen exhaust systems
- Life safety inspections
- Low voltage systems
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Service and repair work
Preferred certifications may include:
- NICET Certifications
- State Fire Alarm License
- Sprinkler License
- Backflow Certification
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- Manufacturer Certifications
- Other fire and life safety certifications
Certification requirements may vary by role and location.
