Caption Call is seeking a caring, customer service-oriented installer/trainer to help people with hearing loss communicate. The role involves installing the Caption Call phone in customers’ homes and training them to use it. Responsibilities are independent and flexible, ideal for those who enjoy working on-site and want part‑time work with potential career growth.

Hourly salary: $12.50 - $19.50 plus piece rate. Actual pay may vary based on experience and location.

• Install and troubleshoot Caption Call phones in customers’ homes.
• Courteously train customers on phone features.
• Promote the Caption Call service.
• Assist with lead generation activities.
• Guide other Caption Call activities and recommend expansion opportunities.
• Achieve install/trainer expectations and maintain departmental goals.
• Complete service calls as assigned.
• Accurately maintain customer records.
• Submit required reports, invoices, and feedback on customer interactions.
• Retrieve and clean phones of former customers.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Represent Caption Call at events.
• Adhere to compliance policies.
• Handle confidential customer information with integrity.
• Adapt to new responsibilities as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum:
High School Diploma or GED.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Effective communication in English.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Ability to drive and travel by air if required.
• Adaptability to unique customer needs.
• Reliability, organization, and punctuality.
• Independent work capability.
• Adaptation to changing environments.
• Experience working with senior citizens.
• Basic computer knowledge and experience.

• Daily driving required; reliable, licensed, insured vehicle necessary.
• Valid driver license and good driving record.
• Ability to sit/stand for extended periods in an office environment.
• Ability to transport installation equipment to customers’ homes.
• Dexterity of hands for computer and tools.
• Regular and predictable attendance required.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
