Responsibilities- Installs, repairs, and performs maintenance on Commercial and Industrial electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
- Troubleshoots and repairs electrical systems.
- Performs specialized electrical tasks including wiring, lighting installations, and upgrading electrical infrastructure.
- Pulls wires and is knowledgeable of basic voltage colors and panel numbering.
- Efficiently bends, installs, and runs over 100 feet of conduit per day without assistance.
- Understanding of safety procedures, regulatory codes, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Precisely mounts electrical equipment, interpreting and reviewing drawings and work orders.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, testing devices, and diagnostic equipment.
- Employs strong problem‑solving skills, clear communication, meticulous work habits, and attention to detail to deliver exceptional service to clients.
- Physically capable of lifting at least 50 lbs., operating machinery, standing for extended periods, and working in confined spaces and various weather conditions.
- 5‑7 years of practical electrical experience in Commercial and/or Industrial sectors or a combination of practical experience and classroom instruction.
- Completion of vocational/trade/technical school or an apprenticeship‑like IEC or a similar accredited apprenticeship.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety procedures, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Proficient in conduit bending, wire pulling, and electrical equipment installation.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and meticulous work habits.
- Physical stamina to lift ≥50 lbs., work in confined spaces, and operate in various weather conditions.
