- Review project quotes and scopes before beginning onsite execution
- Inspect installation sites and study work orders, architectural plans, and installation methods
- Install low voltage cabling, devices, and systems according to specifications, relevant codes, and industry practices
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with installed systems
- Conduct routine maintenance and system inspections
- Respond to service calls and customer inquiries
- Travel extensively, mostly within the Midwest, including occasional weekends for multiple sites
- Provide customer training on system operations
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Hands-on/field experience from previous work experience
- Working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations, and IP addressing
- Ability to read architectural drawings
- Team management/supervisor experience
- Experience completing projects within scope
- Experience with service ticketing processes
- Knowledge of fire, CCTV, intrusion, or emergency nurse call systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have a valid US driver's license
