Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking a passionate School Psychologist to provide school-based services within a supportive K-12 educational setting. This flexible opportunity is currently available with full and part-time options.
This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team supporting students through evaluations, behavioral consultation, counseling support, and special education services.
Responsibilities:- Participate as a member of the multidisciplinary team for initial evaluations, eligibility determinations, and comprehensive re-evaluations
- Conduct psycho educational assessments and interpret evaluation data to support student programming and special education recommendations
- Provide written reports and communicate findings effectively with families, educators, and team members
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff regarding academic, behavioral, emotional, and social concerns impacting student success
- Assist with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), manifestation determinations, and behavioral consultation
- Support school teams in identifying barriers to learning and implementing evidence-based interventions and behavioral strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for individualized supports and services
- Provide consultation and collaborative support to school personnel regarding student needs and classroom strategies
- Assist with crisis response, student support planning, and referrals to additional resources when appropriate
- Support safe, inclusive, and positive learning environments for students across grade levels
- Participate in professional development, training, and implementation of updated assessment practices and behavioral strategies
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on district and student needs
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- School-based experience preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary educational teams
- Strong written communication and report-writing skills
- Required state and federal clearances as applicable
