Job Description

Make a difference in students' lives as a School Psychologist available for contract work in the Florissant, MO area. This opportunity spans the school year from August 24, 2026, to May 28, 2027, supporting the mental health and educational needs of up to two school sites within either elementary and high school settings or K-12, depending on district assignment. You’ll directly contribute to assessments, evaluations, and reporting—primarily supporting Child Find efforts—with a manageable caseload of 30-40 students as the district prioritizes appropriate workloads and robust support for contractors.

Qualifications:

• Current Missouri Department of Education (MO DOE) School Psychologist certification required
• Proven experience in school settings with assessment, evaluation, and report writing
• Familiarity with working in elementary, high school, or K-12 environments
• Ability to manage caseloads and meet compliance deadlines effectively
• Must complete drug screening and fingerprinting as part of onboarding
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within school teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations for referred students
• Prepare comprehensive psycho educational reports
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student success
• Participate in Child Find and response-to-intervention processes
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with district and legal guidelines
• Provide consultative services as needed within assigned sites
