CDL A Driver

AJM Packaging Corporation, one of America’s leading manufacturers of paper products, including plain and printed paper plates, cups, bowls and bags, is seeking a CDL A Driver to join our team in Joplin, MO! Main duties for this position will be spotting trailers, local runs between AJM facilities and properly securing dropped loads for safe unloading.

• Drive tractor/trailer to and from local destination in a safe and efficient manner
• Do yard spotting and trailer switching as necessary. Assist dock and/or warehouse staff in loading and unloading trucks
• Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and will submit a report indicating truck condition
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations
• Deliver product to customers as needed

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• One year of tractor trailer driving experience
• Valid CDL-A driver license is required
• Able to perform all physical components of the position, with reasonable accommodation if required
• Able to operate a forklift
• Must be 18 years of age or older
