Job description:

**** Forklift / Yard Operator Needed – Albany, MO!
** Universal Logistics is seeking a reliable Forklift/Switcher Operator to join our team at our Albany, MO facility. This role is essential in supporting yard operations and ensuring efficient movement of materials.

* Location:

** Terminal 6440  16 Industry Dr  Albany, MO 64402
** Shift & Pay:
*** 2nd

Shift: Monday – Friday | 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM
* 20$ an hour
* 1st shift:
Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3:30 PM
* Overtime available
* Training conducted on 1st shift
** Responsibilities:
*** Operate forklifts and yard equipment safely and efficiently
* Transport, unload, and properly store materials in the yard
* Inspect and secure product prior to movement
* Assist with inventory management and order placement
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment
* Follow all company safety procedures and protocols
** Requirements:
*** Experience operating forklifts (or willingness to learn)
* Ability to operate or learn yard switcher equipment with flatbed trailers
* Strong mechanical aptitude
* Experience with RF scanners/order picking is a plus
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
