School Bus Driver

Role Overview

We are seeking a responsible and dedicated School Bus Driver to safely transport students to and from school and related activities. The ideal candidate will have strong driving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine interest in working with children.

• Safely operate buses following traffic laws and safety regulations
• Transport students to various locations, including schools and events
• Enforce behavior management policies to ensure passenger safety
• Conduct vehicle inspections for safety and cleanliness
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and dispatchers
• Assist students with boarding and disembarking, including those with special needs
• Maintain accurate records of routes, attendance, and incidents
• Adhere to all relevant transportation regulations

• Proven experience in bus or commercial driving; school bus experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with children and staff
• Mechanical knowledge for routine vehicle maintenance
• Experience working with children or in childcare is advantageous
• Multilingual abilities or related experience beneficial
• Valid driver's license with a clean record; CDL with passenger endorsement preferred
• Ability to write reports related to transportation activities
