Job Overview
As a Power Equipment Operator, you will be part of the essential processes that enable our store delivery, big ticket (furniture and bedding), and customer fulfillment warehouses to deliver a customer‑centric supply chain and move product quickly to meet our customers' expectations. In this position you will operate material handling equipment (MHE) in our warehouse and fulfillment centers, contributing to our Supply Chain team’s success across the Four Pillars Strategy of Organizational Excellence, Building & Developing the Team, Financial Acumen, and Integrating with our Community.

- Equipment Operation: Operate various types of power equipment (stock pickers, reach trucks, turrets, doubles, etc.) to perform pick, pull, put away, and utility tasks that meet quality, accuracy, and productivity expectations. Equipment may be used at heights up to 40 ft, with or without merchandise, on/off pallets.
- Technology: Accurately and productively use PCs, hand‑held computers, radio‑frequency equipment, and other devices to learn area‑specific functions within multiple warehouse systems.
- Safety: Safely perform job functions while navigating narrow aisles and operating at high elevations. Wear a safety harness while equipment is in motion, report equipment failures or truck accidents, and provide safety feedback.

Work collaboratively with team members to achieve goals, maintain a positive work environment, and communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers, and People Leaders.
- No education or experience required.
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
- Self‑starter who adapts quickly to changing customer expectations and needs.
- Proficient in using computers and handheld technology.
- Comfortable with high elevations.
- Willing and open to cross‑training in other areas of the facility, as applicable.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged walking and standing for the duration of scheduled shift (excluding breaks).
- Frequent use of computers and handheld electronic equipment.
- Reaching, including above eye level, crouching, kneeling, and stooping.
- Lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Comfortable with heights while on power equipment raising self, equipment, and merchandise up to 40 ft in the air.
- Ability to hear and see safety/emergency alarms and PIT warning devices to ensure safety on the warehouse floor.
