Required Qualifications:

• Current certification in Special Education (elementary level)
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting
• Knowledge of low-incidence disabilities and related instructional strategies
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Flexibility and resourcefulness in adapting to diverse learning needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction for elementary students with low-incidence disabilities
• Develop and track student goals in accordance with IEP requirements
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet varied student needs
• Foster a positive, safe, and structured classroom environment
• Communicate progress and collaborate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain documentation and comply with all special education laws and regulations
