Kaw Valley Engineering has an immediate opening for a Traffic Engineer.
Kaw Valley Engineering is an award-winning engineering firm seeking a transportation-focused Project Manager to lead transportation projects (roadway, highways, and municipal infrastructure) from design through construction.
What You’ll Do- Manage transportation projects (DOT, roadway, and municipal) from start to finish
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients and agencies (KDOT, local municipalities)
- Oversee design, plans, specs, and permitting
- Keep projects on schedule, within budget, and moving forward
- Coordinate internal teams and mentor junior staff
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering
- PE license (or close to obtaining)
- 10+ years of experience in transportation engineering
- Experience with DOT standards, roadway design, and permitting
- Strong client-facing and project leadership skills
- Strong pipeline of transportation work
- High visibility with clients and leadership
- Real project ownership (not just execution)
