The Medical Patient Access Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service while supporting efficient clinic operations. This role performs a variety of front-office and clerical duties including patient check-in and check-out, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, medical record maintenance, and payment processing.

• Assist patients and visitors at check-in and check-out with professionalism and courtesy.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with clinical staff to optimize patient flow.
• Verify insurance information and manage related documentation.
• Maintain and update medical records in accordance with policies.
• Process payments and handle patient billing inquiries.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum six (6) months of customer service or reception experience

• One year or more of experience in a healthcare setting
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Graduate of a certified medical office training program, CNA, or Medical Assistant
• Knowledge of medical terminology
