Under the direction of the Administrative Operations Manager, the Accountant 2 provides professional accounting, administrative, and budgetary support for the Office of Children’s Services division. This position has a critical role in maintaining the Division’s financial projections and in conducting overall fiscal oversight. The Accountant 2 will monitor and review expenditure and revenue information to ensure proper spending and reporting procedures are adhered to.

We Are Seeking a Candidate with the Following Competencies- Accounting Operations: Knowledge of general ledger accounting and the control/subsidiary account relationships and reconciliation techniques, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and disbursing officer's accountability.
- Analytical Thinking/Problem Solving: Uses a logical, systematic, sequential approach to address problems or opportunities or manage a situation by drawing on one’s knowledge and experience base and calling on other references and resources as necessary.
- Adaptability: Adjusts planned work by gathering relevant information and applying critical thinking to address multiple demands and competing priorities in a changing environment.
- All positions require valid successful completion of a background investigation, including fingerprinting and a criminal records check.
