The Division of Administrative Services is recruiting for an Administrative Officer 1 in the Juneau office. The Administrative Officer performs a broad range of essential functions in support of the division, the Administrative Services Director, and the rest of the department. The Administrative Officer is responsible for the internal budget, accounting, procurement, and personnel work of the Division of Administrative Services and the Commissioner’s Office.

This position supports 39 positions and monitors a $5.9 million annual budget. The Administrative Officer 1 directly supports our Administrative Services section and provides guidance and leadership on departmental process and policies to staff throughout the department.

Where you will be working:

This position is located in our main offices in Juneau on the 9th floor of the State Office Building. Our office has recently updated furnishings and is centrally located in downtown Juneau. This position’s space has a stunning unobstructed view of the Gastineau Channel! Telework options in the Juneau area may be available after an initial training period. The work environment is friendly, professional, and collaborative, with regular interaction with colleagues, other state agencies, and the general public.
