This position is open to Alaskan Residents only.
What you will be doingThe Education Program Assistant works with and responds to inquiries from federal program specialists, school district food service directors, and transportation companies. This position is responsible for collecting data, preparing forms and paperwork, and preparing program materials to support the program coordinator. The position is responsible for the ordering, allocation, and distribution of USDA Food items statewide.

Who we are looking for- Adaptability: adjusts planned work by gathering relevant information and applying critical thinking to address multiple demands and competing priorities in a changing environment.
- Attention to Detail: is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
- Clerical: knowledge of filing, typing, entering data, maintaining records, taking shorthand, and using and completing forms.
- Computer
Skills:
uses computers, software applications, databases, and automated systems to accomplish work.
Two years of full proficiency level clerical experience of which one year was in an educational environment such as would be found in traditional, correspondence or continuing education schools, education service providers or regulatory agencies. Substitution:
Post‑secondary education may be substituted for the experience on a year‑for‑year basis.
