This Executive Assistant role reports to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Harley-Davidson Motor Company. The role manages the office of the COO, handling a wide range of confidential duties that require broad and comprehensive experience.
Job Responsibilities- Manage and organize the office of the COO efficiently by planning, prioritizing and scheduling multiple tasks and work functions.
- Handle all appointment scheduling and travel planning, serving as the liaison between the COO and internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare correspondence and direct callers/letters to specialized areas of the company for assistance.
- Create reports, screen telephone calls and visitors. Screen correspondence and highlight necessary information for the executive’s time.
- Assist the executive with preparation for Leadership and Board Meetings.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
Education SpecificationsBachelor's Degree is preferred.
Experience RequirementsThe successful candidate will have demonstrated progressive executive leadership support in a relevant business environment and will have 8 years of relevant experience. Key attributes include:
- High degree of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information that could impact company operations if shared beyond the intended audience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to forge strong cross‑functional relationships across various lines of the business.
- Independent judgment in making decisions regarding leveraging the executive’s time effectively, and in handling matters without guidance.
- Organizational awareness and business savvy necessary to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional PC skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Comfortable liaising with high‑profile executives and external stakeholders such as government officials, dignitaries, and dealer/owners on behalf of the COO.
- Extremely organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adjust to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Conducts all matters in a personable and professional manner.
- Must be readily available to work flexible hours.
The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Compensation may vary based on location and experience.
