Facilities Services Student Administrative Assistant

Facilities Services is responsible for maintaining the UAS Juneau campus, ensuring faculty, staff, and students can focus on what matters:
Student learning. This position assists in providing administrative support to the Facilities office, ensuring the Facilities crew has the support and resources necessary to keep the campus functioning and the community thriving. As a student worker, you will gain hands on experience in customer service, office logistics, and operations support.

To thrive in this role, you should be detail-oriented, enjoy working with people, and demonstrate a willingness to learn. You must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively, follow instructions given by management, and effectively communicate with the campus community.

• No previous experience is required, training will be provided.

• to be eligible for student employment at UAS, a student must:
• a. be enrolled in the University system with a minimum of six credit hours in the current semester of employment; or
• b. for employment between semesters, have successfully completed six or more UA credit hours in the preceding semester and demonstrate plans to enroll for six or more credit hours in the next semester; and
• c. not work hours which interfere with class attendance; and
• d. have at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average

This recruitment is open to undergraduate students only.

This position is located on the UAS campus in Juneau. This is a part-time, Student Assistant 1, hourly position with pay starting at $14.19/hour.
