The Department of Revenue, Division of Administrative Services is recruiting for a Procurement Specialist 2 in Juneau! This position is open to Alaska Residents only. Please check our residency definition to determine if you qualify.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Serve as the Department of Revenue's lead procurement specialist by coordinating procurements for goods, services, and information technology; ensuring compliance with State procurement laws, regulations, and policies; and partnering with divisions to provide procurement guidance, develop solicitation and purchasing strategies, coordinate contracts, and deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the Department of Revenue's property management functions by managing inventory control, surplus property, and asset accountability; maintaining accurate records in compliance with State requirements; and supporting department operations through administrative services including accounts payable processing, administrative support, and backup coverage for travel, timekeeping, employee movement, and other department-wide activities.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement across the Department of Revenue by developing procedures, streamlining administrative processes, and supporting efficient operations throughout the organization.

The Working Environment You Can Expect:
This position is based in the Department of Revenue's Administrative Services office in Juneau and works closely with divisions throughout the department, state agencies, vendors, and contractors in a collaborative office environment. Most work is performed in an office setting with occasional travel or site visits related to property management, office space coordination, vendor meetings, or department projects.
