What You Will Be DoingThe Administrative Operations Manager 2 (AOM2) is part of a dynamic team in the Department of Family and Community Services (DFCS), Office of Children’s Services (OCS) Director’s Office. The AOM2 is responsible for direction, oversight, and setting statewide policy, controls, and procedures for the OCS administrative, budgetary, and financial functions. The position is part of the division’s senior management team which makes recommendations on goals and policies, regulations, short‑ and long‑range planning, and efficient management of resources.
The AOM2 provides ongoing professional financial and administrative support and consultative services to all OCS central and regional offices, coordinates responses to legislative inquiries, prepares fiscal notes with the division’s legislative liaison, and serves on department‑wide committees and work groups related to the development of cross‑divisional administrative and programmatic projects.
