Administrative Officer 2 (PCN 250240) – Department of Transportation and Public Facilities
This position serves as the administrative, financial, and budget officer for the division, overseeing personnel, payroll, travel processes, internal administrative procedures, office operations, workflow analysis, and efficiency improvements. It reports to the Administrative Operations Manager and functions as the division’s second‑in‑command administrative authority.
Responsibilities- Manage financial and accounting activities, including budgeting, reporting, and expense monitoring.
- Administer personnel and payroll functions and support travel administration.
- Develop and maintain internal policies, identify opportunities for process improvement, and study office operations.
- Directly supervise administrative support staff, assigning work, setting priorities, and providing training and performance feedback.
- Coordinate with other DOT&PF teams to ensure resources are effectively allocated.
- Managing Performance: Takes responsibility for employees’ performance by setting goals, tracking progress, providing resources, and addressing performance issues promptly.
- Decision Making: Makes sound, well‑informed, objective decisions and commits to action even in uncertain situations.
- Self‑Management: Sets well‑defined personal goals, works with minimal supervision, and demonstrates initiative.
- Education or experience equivalent to business, public administration, finance, accounting, or a related field that provides competency in administration, budgeting, financial management, and analytical thinking.
- Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and accounting systems.
- Strong organizational, time‑management, and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
