Social Services Program Coordinator

This position is open to Alaska Residents only. The Department of Family and Community Services, Office of Children's Services (OCS) is recruiting for full-time Social Services Program Coordinator located in Juneau, Alaska. The Social Services Program Coordinator (SSPC) plays a critical role in delivery of the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) services through multiple grant programs funded by the office of Children's Services (OCS) and the overall management of the Children's Justice Act (CJA) Task Force.

The position ensures that these activities are implemented following departmental regulatory and policy guidelines and provides recommendations to policy and procedures for implementing CAC while monitoring progress of grantees and the CJA Task Force. This position also participates in the statewide Child First Alaska Leadership Team responsible for implementing the Child First Alaska Forensic Interview Training and oversees funding allocated to the project.

The SSPC coordinates the provider agreement for drug testing for clients being monitored for ongoing substance abuse concerns relating to child safety and develops policies and procedures relating to the use of drug testing, as well as various contracts related to training/technical assistance to CAC and other Service Array grant programs.
