Motor Vehicle Customer Service Representative

This position is open to Alaska Residents only. Please check our residency definition to determine if you qualify.

What You Will Be Doing

The Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is looking for a motivated, organized, innovative individual to join our team as a Motor Vehicle Customer Service Representative (MVCSR2). You will be examining documentation presented for required information and validity to ensure you are issuing them the proper credential or vehicle information. As an MVCSR 2 you will interact directly with the public often times explaining policies, statutes and regulations as well as administer road examinations for non-commercial, commercial and motorcycle licenses.

The Working Environment You Can Expect

The position is located at the Juneau DMV, 2760 Sherwood Lane Suite

B. The MVCSR 2 will be assigned to a work station in the public service lobby and will typically rotate weekly between processing customers in the lobby and administering road exams based on business needs. The hours are 08:30 - 5:00 Monday through Friday with possible overtime opportunities
