Position: Motor Vehicle Customer Service Representative 2 (PCN 125214)

The Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking a Motor Vehicle Customer Service Representative (MVCSR2) who thrives in a fast paced environment. The MVCSR2 will examine documentation presented for required information and validity, issue proper credentials or vehicle information, explain policies, statutes, and regulations to the public, and administer road examinations for non‑commercial, commercial, and motorcycle licenses.

Working Environment You Can Expect

The position is located at the Juneau DMV, 2760 Sherwood Lane Suite

B. The MVCSR2 will be assigned to a workstation in the public service lobby and will typically rotate weekly between processing customers in the lobby and administering road exams based on business needs. Hours are 08:30‑17:00 Monday through Friday with possible overtime opportunities.

Required Experience

Six months of experience licensing, titling, and registering motor vehicles, maintaining driver records, collecting motor vehicle registration taxes, and processing license actions required by traffic laws, financial responsibility and mandatory insurance laws, and judicial suspensions or revocations.
