Join SEARHC in Juneau, Alaska. SEARHC is a mission‑driven, integrated healthcare organization providing care to a diverse patient population across Southeast Alaska. We are seeking an intermittent Endodontist to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a collaborative, well‑supported clinical environment. This role includes the opportunity to provide care both in Juneau and Sitka.
The new three‑story dental clinic is scheduled to begin serving the Juneau community in February 2027. The facility will offer Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics and General Dentistry services, along with visiting specialists. As one of the largest Native‑run healthcare organizations in the United States, SEARHC is committed to providing quality healthcare that honors the traditions of Alaska Native people and American Indians, while ensuring that advanced medical technologies are made accessible to all.
The new $300million Mt. Edgecumbe Medical Center opened in Sitka, April
2026 and in 2021 we opened the $30million Wrangell Medical Center, located in Wrangell. With plans to build a third critical‑access hospital in Haines. In addition to the dozens of established outpatient clinics and traveling clinics throughout the region.
Guaranteed Hourly Rate: $235.00. SEARHC will pay for roundtrip airfare, lodging, and ground transportation.
Practice DetailsSchedule:
1‑2 weeks/monthly blocks available. New, modern clinic facility:
Featuring twelve closed operatories with plumbed nitrous oxide. There are plans to support each surgeon with two dental assistants in the near future. Patient Volume: 4‑6 patients per day. All clinic operatories have up-to-date A‑Dec equipment, 3‑d Imaging with Pano, digital radiography, and electronic health records. Including Dentrix Enterprise Software and Dexis Radiography.
- DDS or DMD degree from CODA accredited dental school.
- Graduate of a CODA accredited program in endodontics.
- Dental Practice License in the State of Alaska or another US State.
- Alaska license preferred.
- BLS required.
- Endodontic therapy on all appropriate permanent dentition.
- Endodontic surgery.
- Vital and non‑vital bleaching.
- Treatment of root canal obstruction.
- Internal root repair of perforation defects.
- Retreatment of previous root canal therapy.
- Apexification/recalcification therapy.
- Canal preparation for dowel or post.
