Located in the ancestral homeland of the Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian peoples, the University of Alaska Southeast (UAS) is fully committed to advancing the education and research aspirations of Indigenous peoples and is committed to ongoing work toward decolonization. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in English, Literature, Composition and Rhetoric, or Creative Writing from an accredited institution of higher education.
2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a college or university setting, with graduate-level coursework in teaching of writing is preferred.
This is a temporary faculty position. Salary is based on the number of previous semesters teaching experience within the University of Alaska.
