Position: Student Support Psychologist Elementary Focus (Juneau, AK)

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1 years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Juneau School District is seeking a full‑time School Psychologist to support elementary students across two school locations (MRCS & KHE). This role requires an experienced professional with active Alaska Psychologist Licensure and Certification

C. The position is fully onsite and provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students academic and social‑emotional development.

Elementary School Psychologist – Juneau, AK

Assignment Details:
  • Dates: ASAP May 21, 2026

  • Hours: Full‑time, 37.540 hours/week

  • Caseload: Elementary school students; travel between two school sites (MRCS & KHE)

  • Compensation: $38/hour

  • Setting: Onsite only

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations for students in elementary grades.

  • Provide individualized counseling and interventions to support social‑emotional and academic growth.

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to address student needs.

  • Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and student support conferences.

  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to staff and families.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies and state regulations.

Requirements:

  • Active Alaska Psychologist Licensure and Certification C (no pending applications accepted)

  • Experience working with elementary‑aged students preferred

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills

Must hold or be eligible for VA licensure as a School Psychologist Strong communication and collaboration skills Comfortable working in a school‑based setting Benefits:
