Juneau School District is seeking a full‑time School Psychologist to support elementary students across two school locations (MRCS & KHE). This role requires an experienced professional with active Alaska Psychologist Licensure and Certification
C. The position is fully onsite and provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students academic and social‑emotional development.
Elementary School Psychologist – Juneau, AK
Assignment Details:Dates: ASAP May 21, 2026
Hours: Full‑time, 37.540 hours/week
Caseload: Elementary school students; travel between two school sites (MRCS & KHE)
Compensation: $38/hour
Setting: Onsite only
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations for students in elementary grades.
Provide individualized counseling and interventions to support social‑emotional and academic growth.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to address student needs.
Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and student support conferences.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to staff and families.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies and state regulations.
Requirements:
Active Alaska Psychologist Licensure and Certification C (no pending applications accepted)
Experience working with elementary‑aged students preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills
