Building Monitor (Districtwide)
Community Schools is hiring hourly building monitors.
Responsibilities include:
- Safety of participants.
- Insure that the building is not abused or vandalized.
- Work with groups to insure that their programs run in a timely manner, equipment is available and secured, etc.
- Opening and closing school district facilities.
This is a temporary hourly, non-benefitted position. Actual work schedule is dependent upon needs. Work hours will be less than 15 hours a week. The rate of pay is $17.00 per hour. Hours vary and will include evenings, weekends and some holidays.
Selected hire will be fingerprinted at applicant's expense and fingerprints forwarded to the Alaska State Troopers and the FBI for a criminal background check.

Schools & Programs- Six elementary schools, one middle school, and one standard high school.
- Additional options include an alternative high school, a PreK–8 Montessori School, a K–8 Charter School, a home‐school program (HomeBRIDGE), a residential youth facility, and the Tlingit Culture, Language & Literacy (TCLL) program.
