Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in education? We are currently seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team and work across a range of welcoming schools in Eastbourne.
Whether you are looking for day-to-day supply work, short-term placements or a more flexible approach to education work, we can offer opportunities to suit your availability and experience. You will have the opportunity to support pupils across different year groups and make a positive impact in schools throughout Eastbourne.
The RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils where required.
- Help create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Assist pupils with their learning, development and wellbeing.
- Support classroom activities and help prepare learning resources.
- Adapt quickly to different schools, classrooms and pupil needs.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, teachers and school staff.
- Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.
We are looking for Teaching Assistants who are:
- Experienced in, or passionate about, supporting children and young people.
- Reliable, adaptable and confident working in a school environment.
- Patient, enthusiastic and committed to supporting pupils' learning.
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
- Comfortable working across different year groups and school settings.
- Available for flexible teaching support assignments across Eastbourne.
- Competitive daily rates of pay. (£93 - £110)
