Entry Level Civil/Environmental Engineer

Pay: $35–$40/hr (Depending on Experience) + Overtime

What You’ll Do- Site development design
- Water & sewer utility design
- Street & pedestrian facilities design
- Drainage facilities & erosion stabilization design
- Hydrology & hydraulic modeling
- Environmental permitting
- Construction inspection & contract admin support
- Materials testing & inspection
- Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, planners, and clients to bring projects from concept to completion
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering (ABET accredited)
- EIT certification (or ability to obtain within a year)
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency or willingness to learn AutoCAD Civil 3D, EPANET, HEC-RAS, and MS Office
- Clear communication and a collaborative mindset
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Comfortable visiting job sites and working outdoors
- Willingness to occasionally travel to remote work sites throughout Southeast Alaska by small airplane or ferry.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
