The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Data Modernization & Innovation Office (DMIO) is looking for a AASHTOWare Program Support Specialist (Engineering Assistant 1/2/3 flex) to help us Keep Alaska Moving!

Location and Salary

Depending on the selected applicant, this position can be filled in Juneau, Fairbanks, or Anchorage.

  • Juneau: $34.42 - $45.35 Hourly / (OT Eligible)
  • Fairbanks: $33.76 - $44.49 Hourly / (OT Eligible)
  • Anchorage: $32.78 - $43.19 / (OT Eligible)
What you will be doing

In this position, you will support the Department’s use of AASHTOWare Project, assisting with system operations that support contract delivery and administration statewide. You will work with transportation programs and business staff to help ensure the system supports accurate, efficient, and consistent contract delivery across the state. You will develop an understanding of departmental workflows and internal processes in order to support users, maintain clear and up-to-date documentation, and provide timely, customer-focused assistance.

You will work with staff across the Department and interact with members of Alaska’s contracting community to support effective system use. You will assist with user outreach, training, and coordination with other state departments or external partners in support of ongoing system improvement.
