Base Salary InformationEngineer/Architect 1: $3,776.00 biweekly (OT Ineligible)
Engineer/Architect 2: $4,032.80 biweekly (OT Ineligible)
As one of the Utilities Leads within the Central Region Traffic Safety & Utilities (TS&U) Section, you will oversee utility‑related activities necessary for utility permitting and the development of small to medium‑sized capital improvement projects proposed within DOT&PF’s managed right‑of‑way. You will coordinate the efforts of DOT&PF design staff and engineering consultants, supervise a team of three engineering assistants, and progress from the Engineer/Architect 1 to 2 level through structured training.

The Working Environment You Can ExpectPosition located at DOT&PF Central Region Headquarters, 4111 Aviation Ave., Anchorage, AK, across from Ted Stevens International Airport. The office is a mixed‑cubicle layout organized by departmental sections. Office hours have flexibility; travel to project sites may be required. Hybrid teleworking is an option after the mandatory probationary period.

Engineer/Architect 2Requirements:
Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect registration and one year of professional experience as an Engineer/Architect 1 or associate.
