Job Description Role Overview
As a Reliability Engineering Specialist, you will leverage data‑driven analysis and engineering skills to enhance the availability and mitigate risks in mission‑critical facility systems. Your role will involve identifying failure patterns proactively, driving corrective actions, and creating tools and metrics that facilitate reliability on a large scale.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and analyse operational telemetry, alarms, and performance metrics to detect emerging risks and reliability issues.
- Establish and track reliability key performance indicators (KPIs); provide clear analyses and recommendations to guide operational and engineering decisions.
- Design and maintain analytics and reporting tools utilizing Python, SQL, and/or data from DCIM/BMS/SCADA sources.
- Assist in or lead root cause analyses (RCAs) and coordinate corrective action follow‑up for recurring or critical issues to ensure accountability and resolution.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to refine preventive maintenance strategies, automation prospects, and compliance efforts.
- Contribute towards the development of reliability standards and documentation to enhance consistency across various sites.
- Proven experience in reliability or systems analysis within data centres or other uptime‑critical sectors such as utilities, telecommunications, or manufacturing.
- A degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience; a strong proficiency in data analysis and tool development is essential.
- Excellent analytical and visualisation abilities; meticulous in technical documentation.
- Capable of influencing solutions through evidence‑based reasoning, clarity, and structured thinking.

The annual salary range for this role in the U.S. is between $97,500 and $199,500. Candidates may be eligible for additional bonuses and equity.
